The church will provide a luncheon following morning worship on Aug. 30, with a recognition service to follow. Friends of Webb and his wife, Deana, are invited to attend.

Call the church office at 573-443-1408 by Aug. 25 to make reservations for the luncheon. Friends may send cards to Dr. Robert Webb, Memorial Baptist Church, 1634 Paris Rd., Columbia, MO 65201.

Webb accepted the call to preach at 16 and held his first pastorate at a small country church in Arkansas while a sophomore at Ouachita University. He has also been the pastor of churches in Bolivar; Lenexa, Kan.; and Maryville.

The couple has three children, Laura, Joey and Matt, and three granddaughters, Maggie Jean, Kylie and Sara.
