Giving options available to help Haiti

Baptist entities are mobilizing to assist Haiti after an earthquake, estimated at a magnitude of 7.0, rocked the island nation on Jan. 12. Those entities provide several giving options for Baptists in Missouri who want to help.

Baptist entities are mobilizing to assist Haiti after an earthquake, estimated at a magnitude of 7.0, rocked the island nation on Jan. 12. The International Red Cross reported Jan. 13 that about 3 million people have been affected, particularly in and around the capital city of Port-au-Prince, near the quake’s epicenter.

Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, the Southern Baptist Convention’s Baptist Global Response, the Baptist World Alliance’s Baptist World Aid, American Baptist Churches USA and Buckner International have sent funds. Individuals who would like to give can learn more by clicking on each entity name.
